Ski Trip Reminder
Please remember that if you had signed up for the ski trip that was canceled in December, you are automatically signed up for the ski trip coming this Saturday. If you are unable to attend, please let Mrs. Hector know ASAP.

Ski/Snowboard Trip Information 2009-10
Mt. Hood Meadows~~Silver Falls School District
**Bus**-$12.00 (add on to your other options)
Trip Dates: Dec. 12, Jan. 9, Feb. 13, March 20 & April TBA-(depending on snow conditions).
REGULAR PRICES- (Junior rates are for grades 7 & 8)
Grade 7 & 8: Lift ticket: $30 Group Lesson: $30
Ski Rental: $25 Board Rental: $25
Adult: age 15+ Lift ticket: $59 Group Lesson: $30
Ski Rental: $30 Board Rental: $30
Beginner ski or Snowboard Package $50 (ages 12 and up-7th grade+)
All day Buttercup lift ticket (lowest chairlift), 2 hour lesson and all day rental
**Parents are welcome and encouraged to come on these trips. An adult would pay the adult prices, but get the benefit of a free bus trip, as a trade for being a bus chaperone.
A chaperone from each school must attend the trip. This could be a parent or staff member.

The dates mentioned above are subject to change, based on snow conditions. We select dates ahead to allow for planning and reserving the buses.
Times:
Load at Mark Twain: 5:40 am Arrive at Mt. Hood Meadows: aprox. 8:30
Load at Mt. Hood Meadows: 4:30 Arrive back at Mark Twain between 6:00/7:30. The arrival home time is tentative due to road conditions and traffic.
Please be available from 6:00 on to pick up your child.
The kids will have access to a cell phone to call you, once we are nearing Silverton.
They can also bring their own cell phones. Buses are not locked-all valuables should be stored in a locker on the mountain. This is the responsibility of your student!
